Description:
A nostalgic trip down Great South Road, the original State Highway 1 before the motorway went in, with a scenic trip around the Hunua Ranges.
Starting time is 7am, on the front steps of the museum. Be there at 6.45am for ride check in.

Event Type:
A 200km BRM, starting at the Auckland Musuem, travelling down Great South Road until Ramarama, before heading across to Kaiaua and down to Miranda. The return trip goes up the East Coast of the Hunua Ranges through Clevedon before finishing at the Auckland Museum.

Auckland Museum: 200kms
Road surface:
All roads are sealed. There will be 30kms of dead flat roads. The rest is rolling hills, with some pinch ones at Ararimu and Kawakawa Bay
