
A return to the lovely Matamata region, to complete the interrupted season of riding. On offer is a 300, 400 or 600km ride.
All distances start and finish at the information centre in Matamata, all rides start at 6am, and follow the same course for the first 200 odd kms.
Matamata is a good place to start from, as the first 30kms is a gentle downhill run. It can get cold, early in the morning though. Matamata also has good eating options for the end of the day rides.

Starting in Matamata, the course Heads up to Te Kauwhata, before returning back to Matamata, detouring through Morrinsville, both ways.

As with the 300km the course heads up to Te Kauwhata. On the way back to Orini, the 400km riders ride dwon through Taupiri and Ngaruawahia, before heading back to Morrinsville. After Morrinsville, the course heads up to Paeroa, before returning to Matamata.

Day one follows the 400km course, but cuts off at Springdale on the return trip (290km), to return to Matamata.

Day two is a flat ride up to Kaiaua and back. The dog leg is on the out leg, so a shorter leg coming back.
