Leaving from  Greytown at 3am  on Saturday, March 19th, enjoy exploring isolated scenic roads in the Lower North Island.  Take in the country roads of Wairarapa and Tararuas, the Manawatu Scenic Trail, the Whanganui River road through Jerusalem, the steep Gentle Annie route  to Hastings then back to the Greytown via Route 52. This is a challenging, tough, unsupported  ride with over 11,000  metres of climbing. The aim is to complete it within 75 hours.Two overnight stops are planned at Whanganui and then Waipawa. Day Two: Whanganui to Waipawa (340kms) 

Day Three: Waipawa to Greytown (279kms) 

Entry does not include accomodation. There will be additional accommodation costs for the overnight stops at  Whanganui and Waipawa.

To be eligible for the ride you must have completed at least one of our  400 or 600k rides (there are some scheduled in the next few months) or have proof of completing major multi-day cycle events.

99% Sealed roads. About 10kms of gravel/trail
