2024 Gravel Rides

Our 23 series was so popular we've deciced to run it again. For the 24 season (that kicks off this November).

These events are self supported gravel brevets homologated by Kiwi Randonneurs.  We've scoured some of the best gravel roads in the North Island . All of these rides have options to suit everyone, and the emphasis is on completing rather than racing.

Folks ride these on all sorts of bikes from all-road bikes with 32mm slicks to gravel bikes to mountain or bikepacking bikes, so ride what you have got.

All of these rides are all on public roads (although some no longer maintained by the council), promise a lot of fun and will probably transport you to places you've never been before.

We expect to be able to confirm dates and routes in November but so far we have

  • Ashhurst in December 60/120/240 km
  • Tuakau in January 200/300 (BRM)
  • Pahiatua in March 80/160/250
  • Ohakune in May 80/120/240
  • Eketahuna in June 60/120/200
  • Tuakau in October 200/300 (BRM)

(BRM means its an internationally sanctioned ride homologated by ACP in France)
